Samantha has worked in fundraising in the arts and cultural sector for over 20 years, initially in full time Development roles for English National Opera, Tate Gallery and Brighton Dome and Festival.
On moving to Northumberland in 2010, she set up a freelance fundraising consultancy business, and has since worked with most of the major cultural organisations across the North East, including Tyneside Cinema, Sage Gateshead, Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums, Museums Northumberland, New Writing North and Yorkshire Dance. Her expertise covers a wide range of areas from advice to implementation, and includes major capital campaigns, Friends and Individuals, extensive Trust and Foundation work, strategic planning and scoping and research
