Paul Wilmott & Peter Knight
Directors, Cinema Technology Community (CTC)

Paul Wilmott has worked in the independent film sector for over 15 years, as a projectionist and technical manager. In addition to being a director of the Cinema Technology Community he is also the Chair and Technical Director for two independent cinemas, Saffron Screen and Royston Picture Palace. He has a passion for quality in cinema presentation, always seeking to get the best from the available resources, whether this is from a full DCI compliant installation, or a simpler video projector/Blu-ray setup. Paul also has a wide knowledge of cinema systems including audio systems, pop-up cinemas, accessibility options and ticketing systems.
Peter Knight has been involved with the cinema exhibition industry for more than 25 years, having started projecting 35mm film while at University. Peter now specialises in all aspects of projection both digital and traditional film, along with LED, freelancing for a number of different companies and organisations. Peter has been actively involved with the training programme for the CTC for a number of years and externally has travelled globally to deliver 35mm projection training. He also has knowledge of DCP creation, pop-up cinema, drive-in cinema.
