Whilst freelance for HOME, an arts film centre, Lucy secured a multi-year grant from the Evan Cornish Foundation, a weeklong Refugee Week festival and managed a high-profile fundraising dinner, Chaired by Jonty Claypole, BBC’s Director of Arts with guest Danny Boyle, exceeding fundraising expectations.
Securing £800,000 from National Lottery Heritage Fund towards Islington Mill is her most recent success. Achieved by a small development team, Lucy kick-started the fundraising campaign with the initiative ‘Temporary Custodians of Islington Mill’ which captured the imagination of many.
