Live Cinema UK is the UK's only organisation dedicated to creating amazing experiential events in cinemas. As founder and Director, Lisa supports venues and festivals around the world to create a 'live' in-venue elements for their programmes, including live soundtracks, VR/AR/XR integrations, theatrical immersion, movie parties, audiovisual performance (VJing), and simultaneous interactive moments including singing, dancing, eating and drinking.
As well as live events, Lisa provides film exhibition consultancy including on-going programming, fundraising, marketing and audience development support for a range of exhibitors and festivals across the country, including Sheffield Doc/Fest and Leeds International Film Festival, where she has previously held senior roles and still works as an audience development consultant.
Live Cinema UK curate innovative programmes and new art works inspired by the moving image, advising and partnering with cultural promoters regionally (Leeds International Film Festival, Screen Yorkshire, Sheffield Doc/Fest), nationally (BFI Film Audience Network, National Media Museum) and now internationally (Motovun, Reykjavik and Wroclaw New Horizon Film Festivals, Alamo Drafthouse (USA))
