Julia is Young Film Programmers’ Manager for Film Hub South East. She established and runs the FHSE Young Film Programmers’ Network and supports venues in the South East with their youth audience development work through young film programmers groups, resources, training, events and network membership. Prior to this Julia worked at BFI Stephen Street, BFI SouthBank and, was director and founder of Cineclub - The Young Filmmakers’ Network working with schools, local authorities, Film London, BAFTA, NFTS, EMPIRE and City Screen to develop youth audiences for cultural cinema. She has an MA in Film and Television from Westminster University, has lectured in film music at Southampton University and is an experienced trainer and Q and A host.
