26 Years experience as a projectionist / technician, manager, programmer and cinema engineer. Starting my career in a small independent cinema in Paignton while I was at secondary school, I quickly developed a strong passion for cinema and worked until 2012 as a projectionist / chief projectionist and engineer. Following 2012 I became manager and film programmer at the Barn Cinema where I am still responsible for the projection room as well as being the technical manager for all non cinema activities at our performance arts venue including concerts and theatrical production.
I also provide outdoor cinema screening across the South West using 35mm or DCP at a range of venues including work for the BFI FAN at the Eden Project and Minack Theatre. I also provided the project management for the outdoor premier of Dartmoor Killing which won a screen award for the best premier of the year.
