As a freelance film programmer for twenty eight years David has programmed a wide variety of cinemas; full-time first run, part-time in mixed arts centres, village halls, film festivals and film societies. David has run his own cinema and on many occasions has launched new cinemas from scratch so he has a full understanding of all aspects of the commercial aspects of running a successful cinema. David has run WOW Wales One World Film Festival for the last 18 years and has a particular interest in world cinema. David also ran Borderlines Film Festival for its first ten years. Under my leadership Borderlines grew to become the UK’s largest rural film festival. David has a huge experience of attracting a wide variety of different audiences to events in very different settings.
