Christopher has worked in the film and arts sector in both Ireland and the UK for the last sixteen years. He has in-depth experience in the roles of programming, film education, audience development, festival promotion, fundraising, sponsorship and arts management.
Christopher has sat on film industry panels and lead industry workshops for a number of organisations and festivals including the BFI London Film Festival and the Independent Cinema Office (ICO). He is a member of the Film Hub NI steering group, a founding member of the Children’s Cinema Club programming group and a member of the European Children’s Film Association (ECFA). He has contributed film education articles for NI4Kids and Film & Festivals Magazine as well as supplying youth film related content for the Belfast Newsletter.
His primary focus is to help the promotion of film literacy in the youth sector, especially in relation to world cinema, and to support the film industry in developing the next generation of cinema audiences.
